This is very true in my human family, I'm the youngest 😂
Her food is a fortune tbh because she is extremely fussy. We definitely spend a tonne of money on her we don't need to though, on account of the fact we're sad feckers and she's our first dog that we pined after for years. I'm sure we could cut down on some of the unnecessary stuff if needed 😂

I cannot tell you how many leads, collars, harnesses etc we have. We’ve always had pairs so double everything! I put a huge bagful together to take to the local rescue the other day. I’ve reduced down to one harness each, useful for rehabbing injured dogs, plus 2 longlines. We tried all sorts of headcollars before realising that a slip lead is the easiest thing to use. Most useful thing was asking colleagues for old towels for post swims/mucky days.

We have so many dog towels, leather leads, slip leads, two lots of harnesses for when the others get very wet, two lots of waterproof coats, beds all over the place etc. plus baskets full of stripping knives, curry combs, brushes…
We do have 5 house dogs however, though 4 of them are quite small.

She may well be less fussy when there’s another dog around eyeing up her bowl…
