tomorrow for a xc school with Penfold.Is the weather going to be ok .Have you been and is it ok to ride alone?

I did - though had Mum with me on foot - though she didnt see much. (due to it all being in woodland) Its a huntertrial course with a bit of everything! - I would go again - the ground there is incredible!
The Copes are lovely and will show/drive you round the course. I wasnt even told to wear a back pro (though I do for XC)
Just watch out for the Paintballers - they usually run upsides the 3.3ft track!! and make a lot of noise - fortunatly my chap didnt mind and was more scared of the little white house that there is to jump! Have a lovely time - would much rather be going there then stuck at my desk!! Good luck with the Kiddy roundabouts (thats the worst bit!)

Have fun - is it in Blakedown? If so I am sure I used to ride there with my friend when we were children (there was a flasher in the woods!)

Its a week day I doubt there will be any - I went on Sat at mid day.. fatal error - to be honest I didnt think they were that bad and I was on a 7 yr old TB!!

I have been once, they have rather a lot of uprights in the course and nothing very technical and not many combinations but its good for a bit of a play. Ground is good as it all sandy, but the take offs and landings had got very worn down last time I went so it made the jumps about 6" bigger than they should have been!! I haven't been back for these reasons, tend to go to Lincomb or Solihull instead.
Oh and my friend feel off at a hunter trial there and her horse got onto the road as nobody shut the gate at the paintball entrance!
Other than that its great!!
