Going to Monty Roberts Demo at The Hand on Saturday?

I am going with my friend, we also went to Hartpury in October. Its a good night out......must take tissues this time for the weepy bit!!!!

Great, taking filly in photo on left, & another may be used as a starter if they have time (doing something special with MC). Should be a good night out.

Off now to spend a few days contemplating how I'm going to get the muddy marvels (live out rugless 24/7) into a state where they look like horses again......Maybe this rain will wash some off, I can always hope!

Good luck with them :D

We were going to do a demo at hartbury with our old horse who was awful at loading but we couldn't get him there as he was being an arse :(

What are they going there for?
Any particular problems?
Or just general join up, handling etc.

2 yr old in photo gets very confused over loading. She can't get her head around the ramp. The legs just turn to jelly & she falls over it, not scared just confused, so she's a loader. Think she will be a good demo as she was bred to event & has a lovely jump which she uses to evade stepping on the ramp. Only foot she has ever put wrong in her life, superb with farrier etc. Her 3 yr old half sister may be used if they have time as a starter.

Hi Sarah,

Keep your eyes open for Beau (3 yr old) & Mae (2 yr old but bigger than her older half-sister Beau). I co-own them with a friend (we co-own their mum), I'm the shorter fatter one!

i may go, how much are the tickets up for? i am only a junction away ;-) i went to see him at hartpury a couple of years ago and it was a great display.

Check out their website (go through the intelligent horsemanship one). Bet MC didn't realise how popular he'd be after professing his love for his horse! Can't wait to see what his part in the demo is going to be.

As for easyjet, no fun. Sure he'd stand quietly in that big space by the safety exit no probs.

I'll be there on the Intelligent Horsemanship stand - there's an offer on to get a week on Monty's Online University for £1, with all proceeds going to the scholarship fund, I highly recommend taking advantage of that! And any Intelligent Horsemanship members make sure you come and see me before you go shopping - we've got money off vouchers to give you on the night to say thanks for being a member and for coming along and supporting us! Hubby Simon will be selling his photos, filming, and taking pictures (come to think of it... I have a feeling I've been put down for doing some filming as well) - should be a great demo! Martin and Monty were at BETA yesterday, winding each other up about Saturday's demo, with Monty joking that he's going to get Martin on horseback in the demo - Martin took it all very calmly!

Please can you ask you husband to pack the slimming camera? Also the one that doesn't show up any mud that we miss (& they are plastered at the moment from living out)?
