I am so excited but nervous at the same time, I feel so un prepared, so I guess a big shopping trip is on the cards in the next few days, as I am paying cash i am writing my own receipt for the current owner to sign, waht should I put in it?

You need to state the amount purchased for the horse(include everything about him - from height to if he has any vices) and what is included tack wise etc
