Going to vet tomorrow

My little dacshy is going to vet tomorrow to have inguinal hernia sorted and be spayed. At the same time. Please can we have some famous vibes please.

Sending plenty of vibes. I am sure she will be fine, my Evie was spayed last November, was a bit sorry for herself for 24 hours then back to her normal self.

Got her home at about 7.30 last night, feeling very sorry for herself (she was still in theatre at 3.30pm). Being a mini dachsy she can't cope with the headdress that the vet sent her home wearing - poor little dog couldn't walk without it catching the ground! She is eating today and looking much perkier now, hopefully all will be OK. Going back at the weekend for a check up.

Been back to the vets twice today. Tummy wound opened up at one end last night so was stapled this morning. Unfortunately she pulled them out so had to take her back tonight to get them done again. And she's got to have a/bs for a week now. Luckily though she's really picked up in the last couple of days and back to eating normally.

You need a sausage collar - a stuffed stocking to stop her reaching back rather than a standard buster collar.
You can also use a sleeve as a body stocking to prevent her removing stitches.
