going to view first horse tomorrow, 5 stage vetting cost?

Soo excited, going to view a potential new horse tomorrow.
I'm going to get it 5 stage vetted and i'm just wondering how much people have paid for this because I have heard prices from £100 - £400 !

The last one I had done was £280.00.

I think a lot will depend on where the vet is. I have had 5 stages including bloods and xrays in the south that have cost around £300 and one in Manchester with bloods and xrays that was £180.

If your own vet is doing the exam and there is any distance involved then you will be paying on top for time and travel as well.

Just in case you are new to all this, make sure that you ask a vet who is completely independent to do the vetting, not one recommended by the person selling the horse.
