how about this?
i guess you want it for driving the one in your earlier post ? (if not please ignore :D)
it has a roller mouth to give somthing to play with for the horse and help easy any stress but is jointed like a french link, (you can also get a fixed mouthpice one of these with the roller)
bit stronger than what you are looking at but severity effected by where the reins are placed, so lower for more curb action, sort of like a slotted kimblewick, but still milder than a pelham or liverpool.

If it was the one that was getting his tounge over a mullen mouth might work because it gives the tounge more space, however compromising on the slightly more breaks you get with a french link!

Annoying isnt it trying to find bits ! I really wanted a happy mouth straightbar slotted kimblewick for mine (bit of a mouthfull i know!) but couldnt find one in his size :( anywhere because kimblewicks are usually for ponies
america seems to have the best selection of alternative bits, looking around at the moment it seems most of it over here is 3 ring gags !
I think i remember reading a while back about a lady who set up a company dealing in 2nd hand unusual bits by post maby someone knows her name.
The only way unfortunatly I can see is having the one you want made as above.

reading this post back I hope this makes sense!

Thankss everyone. will look into those.

funkyfilly018 - yes its for driving. Ive seen those, they are like myler copies but saw this on a site and its put me off getting the cheaper ones, and as they are in America you cant see before you buy....

Would love a myler, but its a bit expense if its not right!! and i dont think there would be the market over here to sell it on should it not be right!!

Any tack shop that deals with Abbey Saddlery wholesalers will be able to get it made up for you. Normally takes about a week
