Golden Cross Grasshoppers

totally agree with everything you have to say - and yup i did see you
grin.gif
lovely lovely horse and think you did a great job
smile.gif

Was speaking to both trainers after the class and one expressly said she was unhappy and a tad disappointed with the way it had been run -she said the idea is fantastic and should be continued but it needed to be better thoughtout
wink.gif
looks like we all have the same opinions
wink.gif

Thank you

I got a very low score though (would the two fences down count towards the style??I guess so/hope so hehe). Wonder whether they will send the sheets out as I didn't see mine.
I do hope the Grasshoppers get kept as seem to encourage quality
and thought on how we ride.
I wonder why there was little entries in PN...do people just think they are so good they don't have to get assessed/try different advice/listen to opinions anymore

if you do hear on any interesting changes to the format let us know
smile.gif

i'd email them and im sure they'd send you your sheet
wink.gif

yup i was surprised there were so few entries in the PN - strange as at other venues the entries have been much larger
confused.gif

i think they will kept their website updated now so id keep an eye on that and see if they say that they are making any changes
wink.gif

Well done for today Abbie, you deserved it!! Both your rounds were fantastic and I agree your 2nd round was 'copybook'!!!!

I'm also trying to persuade my mum to take me to the final, I don't think she will though! My sheet said:
'Pony too onward bound, so getting on his forehand. Try to get more control between the fences and get him listening to you. A lot to like about your riding.'
grin.gif

thank you!
grin.gif
honestly Helen - you rode fantastically - you were one of the quietest and most effective riders there by a long way and Shadow just frightened herself a bit in the warm up - considering the circumstances you rode amazingly
grin.gif
no one would have known you'd taken a bit of a tumble
smile.gif

NAh thats not true, you got the ten, it wasnt Hatties position that did that!!
wink.gif

He is good thanks, very full of the joys of spring....
grin.gif

Where next for you then?

OMG!

There's a name from my past...Alex Pinsent
shocked.gif
Wouldn't have her down as a top judge of jumping technique though
tongue.gif
She was the scariest instructor in pony club when I was at that level though....she would have taught Pippa (Funnell) too
blush.gif

LOL!!! well i suppose so - but still if Hattie hadnt have been good she could have jumped me clean out of my new saddle so it was up to her to comply!!
wink.gif

Well she is off to Stileman's next weekend and then we are off to Munstead together
wink.gif

what about you??

Neither of them are exactly young!!

i wouldnt know- have never been taught by her , but i guess we were all judged by her on the same things so it was up to her!! Maybe when i manage to get the video on the web you can all judge me and Hattsy for yourselves - i would be very intrigued to know what you all think

LoL!! Fair enough! I take it you are getting on well with new saddle then!? Look forward to seeing pics....
smile.gif

Thankyou BBs
grin.gif
am very delighted - ecstatic even that the work over this year has paid off really
smile.gif
we had so many lovely comments about her, lets just hope she enjoys her XC enough to warrant keeping her though

grin.gif

Sorry! Should have said a HUGE well done...it was just a huge surprise to see that name after sooo many years
tongue.gif
It must be 23 years since Alex taught me...and she was sooo strict on the flat work ! Seems strange to think of her judging jumping lol!
