Yep I am hopefully going, either that or Crockstead on Sunday but I'll try to get there on Saturday. I'll be doing the BN and Disco too and with a new bit so I'm hoping for brakes!

See you there

Might be SJing this weekend, but in no rush atm! hes going sweetly and we are building up our partnership nicely! just would like some training - but still flat broke!
However, we're having fun, SJing at home is so exciting lol and his flat work is awesome he does the most amazing extended wich took me by surprise as i didnt even ask for it lol
Ive had to gain control for sjing tho so a flash has gone on

however, we have control YAY
Also had to add a martingale! as he is a cocky little bugger and will throw his head 2 strides out once hes jumped the fence more than twice - just to say *i know what im doing lol* Typical man
smirk.gif

He met streams and proper ditches this weeekend and took it all in his stride - didnt need a lead he just boldly goes off and does his own thing lol so independant! he really doesnt need me he tells me - however, he does have to be reminded occasionally - eerr yes you do snoop lol

Thanks for asking

Aww he sounds fantastic and you sound like your having a great time with him which is really good to hear.

He sounds scarily like Senza though with the head throwing and the 'i know what i am doing' attitude LOL I have had to put a flash and martingale on her too which i didn't really wanna do but my instructor said she needed them and she has been a lot better since.

I know what you mean about training too, everytime i have a bit of money my instructor cant make it and when she can make it i am skint

Doubt i can afford to have any soon now Christmas is on its way.

How is Winston?? Haven't read much about him lately?

I cant see any cash injection coming my way anytime soon....its pants lol

Winston is being a joy! however, too many gunho days, hunting and cantering around the park, he has been neglected when it comes to schooling lol
I did school him last week and he was awesome
smile.gif
and his jumping is just super also
smile.gif
actually all my horses are being super - eeek!
Guess proof will be in the pudding - competition results.

Berts is well also
smile.gif
he canters around teh field far more than either of the other too and hes more than double their ages lol

Sounds like you are doing well enough without any lessons at the mo but i know its still nice to have them as i always seem to learn something new each time.

Keep us updated, its nice to know how everyone is getting on

Nope not going anywhere this weekend

but i am either going to Golden Cross on 6th December or Crockstead on 10th. I jump at GC quite often (as it's 5 mins down the road) so i might see you around.

Good luck!
