well he called it something like that. golden ret x poodle. Young lad at the shop had a nice looking shaggy mongrel. Doggy must have thought i smelt interesting as it pulled at the lead to say hello to me. So I asked the boy what the cross was 'oh no its a pedigree'. I thought oops, some obscure breed that had escaped me and i had just put my big foot in it.
He's a goldenpoo or whatever the name is meant to be. Apparently they paid £500 for it :O
bonny dog but ffs it's a mongrel. Maybe they were promised that it's poo was gold and he had got a bit mixed up. He insisted that it was pedigree because the dam was pure golden and sire was pure poodle so his must be pedigree . so there he stood, this cow hocked, feet at ten to two, cross breed (the dog) and the boy goes on to say 'we are thinking of putting him out to sire'.:rollseyes:
I know this has been done to death but it was quite a funny conversation.

ahh that's it, i knew i had it wrong tut. i did say to him that it was a cross breed but he didn't get it. nope its a breed because they have made up a name for it. i think my name was better anyway
I also suggested he didn't put it out to stud or 'out to sire' as he called it. I told him that it would totally change his personality and if there was a bitch in season in the vicinity it would howl its head off. hopefully it might put them off. Wasn't horrible to him though coz he was a nice lad and totally adored his dog. Who am i to point out that they are muppets to get taken in and part with all that money

There it is before you the pedigree pup and already they are wanting to breed from it sticky out feet cow hocks and all!! Presumably they want to make that much money too!!! People are so gullible it's beyond belief and to all those that defend deliberate breeding of this kind or deliberately seek out designer labels wakey wakey!!
