Golega horse fair

Has anyone ever been? Thinking of going to it this year and was wondering what other peoples experiences were.

Yes, Ive been!! Its great fun, good to go with a bunch of people, its alwayss very cold so wrap up, but we had a ball, great horses and sights you will never see here in England, you'll love it!!!!

I nearly went this year because I wanted to return to the place I went on a riding holiday earlier this year, Alto Alentejo. I booked it through In The Saddle and it was fab, riding Lusitano dressage horses. The same place also does a good deal on a riding holiday combined with the Golega horse fair.
