GONE OFF ALFA-A ORIGINAL !!

Hi, my boy seems to of gone off alfa-a original for some reason. he manages to eat all the nuts , but leaves some chaff even when i wet it. any ideas on what i could use as an alternative, bearing in mind that i have to be careful as he hots up on a lot of feeds !! thanks in advance for you help

My horse went off it too, I think it has a very sharp texture on their mouths. I used to mix a handful of crushed oats into it, which are not so easily separated as nuts, I think the oats taste nice, so she would eat more Alfa-A. The amount of oats were negligible so didn't make her silly.

Me too!

Last month mine went from liking Alfa A Oil to refusing to touch it but now liking Alfa A with added veggie oil... go figure
 
Mine won't eat alfa- a or alfa-oil because of the texture, she will eat hi-fi senior as it is fairly soft. I just feed soaked grass nuts instead usually though.
 
Mine have gone right off the Alfa A and the Alfa Oil too - just throwing it round their stables. Very annoying when its got F4F in it and Premierflex too!!

Graze On has done the trick and they are munching everything (Yet they hate Readigrass)

Figure this..... Since I stopped giving Mr K Alfa-A (and haven't introduced anything new) his skin has impreoved and his legs have stopped filliing over night!!!
