Wow, that is a seriously gorgeous horse!

I used to ride a shire x tb, absolutely fantastic paces and jump, and much more friendly personality than a WB (which he was always being mistaken for).

Hello

Me too! I'm a larger lady and I also have a shire x tb (last one in my sig, bit small tho) although he's only hacked out occassionally now due to ringbone but I would have another in an instant. You should've seen some of the looks and comments I got at BSJA going into the ring on a "cob" he's not a cob, I also have a cob so know the difference!

Anyway, welcome to the forum, your horse is absolutely lovely and I'll be next in line to have him if you ever find yourself having to find him a new home!

Greetings

Lovely photos, we have a Shire x Connemara in the family so big fan of Shire crosses.

Hi! I only signed up a couple of days ago so am a newbee too! Would also class myself as a 'larger rider' and don't give a stuff about it and neither should you! Horsey looks brilliant, you've done so much with him, lucky you!! I have a 16hh warmblood mare but she is going on loan soon to be replaced by a lovely ID! Must get some piccys up, maybe I will be brave now too and do a formal introduction!
