Good Biotin Supplements?

Again this post is RE a possible horse purchase! :P

Horse in question needs a biotin supplement in his feed, and current owner uses the NAF one, but having looked at it it doesn't appear to be terribly cost-effective, if you get my drift? What is a good, cost-effective supplement to use? Thanks! xxx
 
i would recommend aviform biodura, its works wonders on one of my mares & i find it very cost effective to feed.
 


Profeet has worked wonders on my TBs feet, it really is the only hoof supplement i would ever spend any money on again

He used to have the worst feet, cracked and lost shoes all the time, now they really do look like normal feet at last!

Hes been n it for around 5 months now
 
NAF supplements arent very cost effective imo. You pay extra for all their advertising not because the product is better!

A high fibre diet is best as it provides biotin naturally. brewers yeast can be added to supplement the diet if needed, it provides b vitamins and improves fibre digstion. If you deinately want a specific biotin supplement then look at the Equimins one, its much more concentrated than NAF, so better value for money.
