Have the urge to buy some horse riding books!
Can anyone recommend any book that will help with schooling and/or possibly some jumping?

I have one called " Schooling Principles" which is great, and has really helped but the new little pony i'm working with loves a good schooling session, so was looking for some more books, or possibly some activities to keep her amused while helping improving my riding.

I'm planning to order a book full of dressage tests to try too.
Thank you!

I appreciate i'm most probably very unclear and vague :o but really just any horse'y books!

My current fave is centred riding which is about your position.
I also have 101 schooling exercises and 101 jumping exercises which are fab!

I also ordered a book recently called schooling while you hack and I have another polework exercises one which I think is just called that!

Enlightened Equitation which is much more readable than the title suggests. I have read quite a lot of books on this and found it the easiest to understand.

After 50+ years of riding this book has FINALLY explained things that I STILL have a problem with. Can't wait to get back into the saddle and try them out.
