I can't believe she's really gone, it was so sudden.

I'm so sorry. She really was beautiful. What happened?

We found her in the field Sunday morning, she had been fine Saturday night. Vet thinks it was most probably an aneurysm & stroke, she was only 12. It's so awful without her, her two field mates miss her, they seem so lost.

How absolutely awful. I saw the thread you are referring to. Two mares of similar age. It must be a tragic but rare occurance. OP I cannot imagne how you must feel.
