I thought this might be a good idea for a thread?

Currently kudos to countrydale, I have a collection as wear to work etc too they had previously been very helpful sending replacements for small faults twice but even I thought I was pushing my luck when I discovered last night that the winter ones I’d bought in the sale in MARCH and chucked in the wardrobe till winter were a size 24 not a 14 🤦‍♀️. Obv their fault but I really hadn’t checked.

Free return form and replacement agreed for a slightly different item due to no stock this morning, I really thought I was going to have to eBay them and did say as much in my message!

Any other great examples of customer service recently?

GS are usually the cheapest and quick/efficient in getting things sent out. Riaflex I've also found very efficient.
Nags essentials and supplement solutions have both been very good when they didn't have something in stock- called or emailed to explain the substitutions available and the wait time/options if I didn't want a substitute. In both cases, I went for their substitution, as it was of the same, or better, quality.

Simple Systems are fantastic to deal with. Order feed online and it’s delivered to my house a couple of days later. Always helpful to deal with and advise on horse’s diet. I know their feed is expensive but you get what you pay for. Quality feed with no added junk.

GS equestrian great to deal with and keep in touch about your order. Have a wide range of products at competitive prices.

Naturscape for native plants. I ordered some plugs for my new bed and one arrived looking less than healthy as it was shipped in the heatwave ( not ideal timing). I emailed a pic and they sent another out the next day very healthy looking.

Honeychop and Marksway have both been really good when I have had issues - in both cases a lot of stones in the product. Replaced immediately and Honeychop even threw in some vouchers.

Allen & Page were awful to deal with.

Sarah Raven have also been great at responding well when a couple of the dahlia tubers I ordered failed to wake up. Replacements out immediately.

Autoglass. I had my windscreen replaced on Tuesday. I had a 4pm appointment. The fitter called at 2 to offer a cancellation slot at 3pm (which I unfortunately couldn’t take due to work).
I arrived at 4 expecting the process to take 2.5 hours as advised on their web site. The fitter said he’s usually done in 1.5 hours.
He actually took a little over 1 hour and had perfect timing because Costa (where I was killing time) was about to close.
Nice chap, good communication, speedy process.
Warminster autoglass.

My air con in the truck failed on Thursday and I recalled a garage I’d driven by ages ago advertising air con work. I rang and left a message at 2.10 pm, they rang back immediately and I was there for 3pm and driving away just before 4 and they noticed my ad blu needing doing and provided that for me too! Bishy Tech in West Auckland if any locals are on here 🙂

Another I thought really good. Dengie. I had a bag of HiFi lite that was pretty much more lumps of molasses than chaff. I sent a photo of what I’d wasted by the end of the bag.
They were so apologetic and sent me £40 in vouchers which was very unexpected and appreciated

Yes, I had a bag of hi-fi lite which my horse always eats wouldn’t touch and it smelled quite funny. I sent them the label from the bag so they can see which batch it is from and I had vouchers for two bags sent to me. He’s on a different Dengie chaff now but very good customer service. Would’ve been happy with just voucher replacing the bag I have to throw away and I’m sure some companies would’ve argued about that

Exactly. I’d have been happy with a thank you for bringing this to our attention type email.
Bags I’ve had since have been completely normal so
I think I just got unlucky and had a dodgy bag.
It does make you stick with a company though doesn’t it!

If you need plastic boxes/bins storage ect I've just received my order from Solent Plastics, ordered on Thursday was due to be delivered Monday but it turned up today!

Leonidas chocolates. Complained about too many ‘make weights’ in a box, had an apology and two days later received a free box. So I emailed to praise their excellent customer service and lo! they sent me yet another box 😃
feel like you could make this a rolling thing (ps what are make weights?)

Small, thin squares of chocolate which weigh just a few grams and can be included to make up the box weight.
I would accept 1 or 2 but the box I complained about had 5 or 6 which equates to at least to one proper chocolate!

I post about Hoof Boutique in every hoof boot thread but really rate them! So helpful, really quick responses, advice was spot on.

I'm going to do a -1 for GS Equestrian 😂 always takes forever to get to me (might be an NI thing) so I order from them via Amazon and it gets to me faster!

Me too. I had a bag with a couple of bits of bale wrapping in and they also were really apologetic, checked batch numbers and send me vouchers

Discount Equestrain - received 9kg tub of supplement damaged, they sent a replacement and at the same time collected the damaged item, no issues

Wood Finishes Direct.
Bedec barn paint (to paint stables with) ordered yesterday, Saturday, economy 3 working day free delivery. Arrived this lunchtime, Sunday!

Online for equine. Bought Rooni a bee keeper fly mask. Arrived very quickly but had (clearly) grey hairs on the fleece binding all over + a few dust marks. It fit so I wanted to keep it as he needed it but emailed them. Postage + 10% discount refunded immediately. These things happen but glad they responded so promptly, I’d use them again.

That is good to know as Leonidas as my favourite chocolates. My OH usually gets me a box when he is up in London from one of their shops and I didn't realise I could also order them on-line :)
