I suppose we only hear about the bad ones, when people have problems and are sold something unsuitable.
We used some dealers for many years, sadly they have retired now. But they used to take their horses out and about, hunting, hacking on the roads, show jumping, eventing, even point to points. Everything was for sale, and they probably didn't get lots of feed and were ridden by good riders.
Why aren't there good dealers like this any more? They seem to get a load of animals, ride in the menage, take it up and down the farm track and try and sell it!
