I have already checked the BD list of trainers so I am looking for ideas for good flatwork people around Somerset.
Has anybody tried Virgina Peters, Sally Goodwin-Davis, Nina Venables or Nicola Cooper?

Our riding club uses Virginia Peters and I have not heard anything bad though have not trained with her myself.

I am getting excellent results training with Sam Twyman at Dovecote Stables in Chard - he also has schoolmasters you can have lessons on. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Nina trains (or certainly trained, I might be out of date) Deb Criddle who got three golds in the Athens Paralympics, if that helps!

Nicola cooper is fab, knows her stuff and trains with Carl.

Trying to locate Nicola to see about lessons/livery. Anyone got contact details/know where her yard is these days? I'd heard she'd moved.

Or if anyone knows of any other DR riders in this area that offer livery?

This would be the one person I would totally NOT recommend! Each to their own, but if you like a sympathetic trainer (to the horse especially) this is not the person!

I would second this - and if you do go to her, don't whatever you do even mention that you might want another horse, as you will get non stop sales patter for whatever horse is on her hard for sale
