Today, my daughter Bee who is 15 jumped a double clear (one of only a handful) to finish 8th in her PN section at Little Downham. (only pony in the section too) This is even more special to us as her pony, Willough a Newfie X was diagnosed with uveitis last Dec and we wondered what the future would hold for her.

Some highs of the season include

10th at first BE event of the year in sub zero conditions at Isleham , 3 double clears and just one SJ down in the 4 BE events she did this year.

Clear over a number of BE Novice tracks at various PC events.

Placing in Area Tetrathlon at Gt Witchingham over a Novice track with some Intermed black flags

80% events jumped double clear

50% BE PN placed

SJ for PC at Burghley

DC at Area horse trials.

DC at MKEC 3DE last month in the open class.

2nd at Area Nat schools qualfier at Poplar Park and will represent her school at the championships in Nov.

Down sides of season were Willough falling and breaking her knees just outside our house in Aug, this meant her missing Area SJ and Gosling cup, fully recovered but scarred now though.

Not bad for a hunting pony who we have had for 3 years and was only expected to take Bee up to 3ft comp.
