Deary me...
Took B to an open day in a local village today and he was a superstar.
Got asked three times if he was a police dog
he was approached for lots of strokes and snurfles and cuddles (he was awesome with three little kids, one of whom unwittingly grabbed his sore ear - if I had done that he would have squealed and hit the deck but he just winced and sat there)
And he didn't bat an eyelid at any other dogs (he did sing a little bit at the start but we got over that!) in fact we passed an Irish R&W setter who was straining to get to him and he barely even glanced at it.
Very proud of him today. At one stage I thought he would never be crowd-safe so while it might not seem like a big deal to many, it is a huge deal to me, I finally have a good ambassador again
Some piccies for the laydeez!
