Good first intermediates

I'm thinking about trying an intermediate later in the year or early next season. Can anyone recommend good first time ones in the south? I'm going to do a few IN first to get use to the dressage and sj.

Also can I use a double bridle for the dressage at IN?

You would probably get a better response in comp riders to which are the best events. The dressage for IN is of Int standard so yes you can use a double.
