My OH has been offered a job in Hull so it looks like me will probably be moving. Can anyone recommend a good area within say 10 miles for decent outriding (for endurance and TREC) and livery options, preferably grass or DIY.

Thanks!

Not much help from me, sorry, but maybe contact one of the people who run this site
www.rideyorkshire.org.uk

They set up to promote riding and riding holidays in Yorkshire, mainly for people who own their own horse, and have maps of dayrides available to download, and information about places to stay etc.

I met one of the organisers once and that person lived in East Yorks at the time, so may be a good bet for local knowledge.

Good luck, and welcome to Yorkshire!

OP, it takes just over an hour to drive to Hull from York, roughly.
If you ended up living somewhere between York and Hull, and this yard is also on that side of York it might not be too far (depending on your acceptable commuting distances!). When people say 'near York' it could mean anything, but west or north of York definitely won't be any good to you.
