Good horse vet nr skip ton, Yorkshire?

I need a horse vetted that is 14 miles west of skipton. I was recommend rainbow equine but they won't go as its too far for them. Any other suggestions or anyone to avoid?!! Thanks

I would recommend either Aireworth in Keighley or Dalehead in Settle, I have used both in the past and they would both come out to that area. If you google them they both have websites.

Ron Thompson or David Walmsley would be my preferred choice, based in Colne and should cover that area

Even if they would go that far, which I doubt - they're based pretty close to Rainbow and it's about 60 miles/1.5hrs each way - the cost of sending them that far would surely be prohibitive. The travel would be more expensive than the vetting!

Get someone closer, all the practices mentioned above should be perfectly good enough.

P.s - if it's 14 miles west of Skipton area, I am guessing your talking about the area between Barnoldswick and Clitheroe? (where I live!). Aireworth, Dalehead and Stanley House are therefore definitely the favourites.

Aireworth are the only vets I know in the area (and they are who we use on our yard )
