Well after losing loads of confidence jumping my friend got me to jump oscar today! he's great

a real push a go pony like jump - no collection just go! Got up to about 2ft but come back off an 1 1/2 hack so will jump tomorrow again when he's fresh - think I've got the bug again!

Also, it looks as though my friend (ty's sharer) may well also take him on permanently. she wanted to defo take him on and I said that she mustn't do it becuase she's attached to him (as she wants to jump too) so we agreed that if it is hock spavin, and it's workable, that she'll go for it.

Hopefully a bit of luck at last!

Sounds promising, at least you'll still be able to see him and its great that you get on so well with your sharer. I tried to take my boy to Arbrook today and he spooked at the railway bridge (major shadow underneath and under the influence of spring grass) and he totally bolted all the way to the corner (where you turn right to go towards Arbrook)...so not as quite and relaxed as I'd hoped! Did you go to esher?

Hang on a mo - what time of day were you out and about cause we went to arbrook yesterday - black TB and Liver chestnut TB - we passed a few people - do you have a big chestnut? We passed someone on the bridge coming over...was that you?

Think I'm going to go to Chessington tomorrow to see what Oscar's like at a show - will go dressed up though just incase we're in the mood

Probably! I think I remember you, I thought your horses looked really pretty! He's a 15.3hh chestnut with an unusual shaped blaze, think I said hello to you, I say hello to everyone who looks friendly lol!
 
Yes it was you!!! we were going back over A3 bridge and you must have been going for your gallop around Arbrook!! I've seen you loads of times so next time I'm going to say hi properly!!! x
 
I don't remember seeing you before to be honest but sometimes I'm a bit preoccupied! Will look out for you!x
