Recommend me a good insurance company, not petplan, although they've always been good they're giving me a headache at the minute.

I hear nfu are good but I'm still waiting for them to ring me back, do they not want the business.

Wont touch e&l with a 10ft barge pole.

Kbis only go up to 3k vets fees, ideally want 5k.

Not bothered about loss of use, just vets fees really.

Amtrust (now called equicover) have been very good with my vets claims and paid out with no issues despite having 2 such claims in the space of a few months totalling several thousand pounds

Have you tried the NFU local office to you or the head office?

I find using their local office brilliant

Oh and I am with you on PETPLAN!!!! I would like to call them a myriad of swear words but I won't!

Claiming on my veteran policy and they keep claiming that they need the full veterinary history of my horse! Well you've had it 3 times!!! How many poxy more times would you like it!

Personally I think its a delaying tactic! Considering I have spent over £3000 myself and the veteran claim max they pay is £1000! Really considering changing them next year after all this rubbish!

Should have stayed with NFU!!!!

They've (petplan) always paid out in the past, but petplan have put exclusions for things friends horses don't have, the vets confirmed that they don't have the problems, but they still want the horse vetting etc. I can just see future problems arising that I can not be bothered having to deal with.
