My lad has got used to me doing it and will now just drop it when HE wants it done

He had been doing it for a few days and I hadn't really had time to do it. Today I did and found a bit of hard wood out of the shaving stuck up there and it had drawn a some blood. POOR lad he seemed obviously relieved bless him.

I feel guilty now for not doing it days ago :( I do wonder what would have happened if I never did it

I can brush my boys tummy and he drops his. But when i clean it he lifts one back leg and hoof and tries to knock it. Thinking its a fly or he might be trying to get me off?

What's the best think to use too?

My boy does this too, think it's a natural reaction when they feel something poking around down there! I squirt a fair bit of baby oil up there before I go in which helps things :) Then i just use warm water to do the rest :)

I use a squirt of baby oil when my gelding relaxes himself down. Every couple of weeks I wash inside his sheath with a teaspoon of salt in a little hand hot water. He does get very mucky and itchy if he's not washed regularly.

I can never clean my boys :(
i really need to do it too, but i can just NEVER do it! when i massage his chest (physio excersise!) he drops it, but as soon as i go to clean it, he sucks it back up inside! :(

Have the baby oil in your hand ready and when he drops it, give it a quick squirt before he tucks it away!
