Hey y’all!
right now i have my eyes on a coming 4 year old arab x paint mare. Does anybody have experience with this cross? also i don’t know if this is the right thread to post this in but i gave it a shot.

Would this cross have hunter/jumper/eventing talent / any experience with this? thanks!

It wouldn't be the most obvious choice for the job you have in mind, I have no idea about the 'paint' side of things as that may have some jumping lines, arabs do jump and can do well but I would expect the more traditionally bred tb x to be more successful especially in the hunter/ jumper classes, you really need to check the individuals bloodlines to see what they have produced to get a better idea.

Paint horses are mainly stock bred, so quarter horse lines and sometimes a dash of TB. I wouldn't expect them to be natural jumpers.

Arabs can jump but it's not their strong point!

I'd expect something with loads of stamina that can keep going all day, and a great temperament. Ideal for endurance and hacking.
