Good leather tall riding boot for long legs? I'm 6ft 3

I'm a 5'9" woman and find that there is an acute shortage of long boots in this country that come in TALL length for us tall folk. We'd have no problems in the USA but UK stockists only seem to carry a plethora of short and average height boots. I've tried Ariats and they come up pretty high but I always find the leather cracks on the feet. Every pair of Ariats, have cracked with me. I am debating the Tredstep long boots as they come in Tall heights but don't know how the leather holds up though as I've never seen a pair in person. Broginis do very tall heights if you want to splurge on them and the leather seems sturdy on them as well.

Equitector do long boots in a variety of leg widths and heights. They are really hard wearing and comfortable. Have the advantage of steel toecaps which you cannot feel and climate control linings. I've had several pairs of both long and short boots from them and they have been brilliant. Great customer service too. Worth a look on their website because they sometimes have special offers on boots that are outside the "normal" range of sizes. Not ridiculously expensive for long boots either.

Mixedbag, you are right, they are quite hard wearing but the height tall people need, aren't available in their off-the-peg boots unfortunately :( I was quoted £360 for the length I needed (gutted as the leather is nice on them too) and I'm only 5'9" so I can imagine for someone 6'3", they would have to go the custom route with Equitector as well.

I have the Tredsteps (5'10") and they're great. Really impressed with them :)

I looked at the Equitector and just didn't find them that inspiring, although service was very good.

I ended up having a pair made in Hungary, the self-measuring was a bit of a faff but they turned out VERY well at around £350. PM me if you want contact details.
