It's been quiet a 6 years for both of us. From me having only done dressage as part of low level PC eventing and U10 BYRDs, chronic jumping 4faultitis and having never competed driving trials before to qualifying for the trailblazer nationals at elem on a pony I broke myself with only one lesson of training, double clears at baby jumping being beaten only by FC and to being placed at the indoor and outdoor driving trials national championships, JTW, winning channel cup and then being the schoolmaster reserve pony with Mike in JWT 2010. Running away from home (any slightly frustated 13YOs reading- don't take the pony with you, makes it most complicated
), boys, lack of boys, exams, schools, other schools, more exams, uni, teaching him to rear on command, day long hacks just going round and round, galloping up the field bareback on a headcollar, frustations of not being able to compete as much as I would have liked, yard growing from 4-14 ponies, baby to proper lorry, many other stresses, 3000 miles on the back of lorries going to competitions-he's seen it all and taken it in his stride.
I couldn't have asked for a more tolerant and giving teacher. You've been the biggest of supports when everything else has fallen down. Thanks Pip
