Rather sooner than planned/expected I am going to meet someone and their horse on Thursday as a potential part loan!!!!

I got a message from a good friend of mine that someone they knew was desperate to find someone to ride their horse as they are 7 months pregnant and have just had to stop. The horse sounds super, although at 18hh is far bigger than anything I've ridden before, he looks lovely in the pictures and the yard is about 5mins away from my house.

V V excited as you can imagine!!! Even more pleasing for me, yesterday my hubby asked if I would be able to find out if HE could ride the horse on occasion!!!! LOL, great news if I can get him a bit more in to horse hey!!!!

I've hardly been able to stop thinking about all this for the past few days!!! YAY!!!

Oh, I hope you get on well. At 18hh, He soungs huge, but you might just get on very well indeed. I used to always ride big horses, but the last few years, it's been cobs. I love the big neck in front of you on a big horse. Once you can hold him in gallop, yoo'll be fine. Have a good trial on him, and take it from there!!! Best of luck!!!!!

Thanks! Looking at the pictures he looks quite huge, but his face also looks lovely and he does sound like such a gentleman so, massive massive fingers crossed that it does go well!!

Good Luck....he must be fairly safe as you wouldn't carry on riding something dangerous at 7 months gone.
