Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you have a great set up there, over here (depending on which part of the UK people are in) we rarely have to deal with anything lower than -5c, so I can imagine an indoor school is very much needed in -40c! It is currently 3:25pm here so quite a quiet time for the forum as quite a lot of people are at work (I have a rare afternoon off, yay) or collecting children from school; there are always a few people around during the day but you will find that it tends to be busier in the evenings and weekends.

I hope that you enjoy your time on HHO; people can be forthright in their opinions, but it is a great place to ask for advice as there is a wealth of experience and the benefit of different views. Posters are also incredibly supportive of each other when times get tough for someone. There are quite a few posters on here from countries other than the UK (including Canada) which makes the forum a really interesting place, and we all love hearing about how horse keeping, training and veterinary care differs from country to country so don't be afraid to post :)

You're welcome! I expect more people will be along to join in, but I thought I should let you know it's a quiet time so you didn't think it was odd not to get replies. This thread is a nice way to introduce yourself but not every new member posts here first, so feel free to join in with any of the current threads that take your interest. Longer-term posters only worry if a new poster looks like a troll (usually obvious and often during school holidays), otherwise new posters views are very welcome.
