Posted a few days ago regarding my 18 month cocker spaniel Louis, who had a lump that vets wanted to remove.

Are worries are over- vet rang to day with histopathology results- it was a benign, vet found it strange that his tumour was on his side and they have only ever known that type of growth to be on legs and feet- trust him to be the exception.

Only problem now is that he doesn't understand that he is meant to be resting for the next few days, NOT bouncing off the walls and going mad in the snow. He was also castrated at the same time and needs to be relaxing but doesn't understand!

Thanks for the support offered in the previous post- I was quiet worried given his young age, but can relax for the moment provided he doesn't rip his stitches open!

So pleased its good news!!

I feel you pain about trying to keep him quiet - St Sweep (also cocker spangle) had his lumps removed this year and was on 10 days box rest - he is 12 so should know better!!!

Keeping a Cocker quiet? Sorry Mission Impossible. Unless you are prepared to cuddle them 24/7, they do seem to quite like that!
