My elder daughter has unfortunately outgrown her pony who we have had for just over 18 mths. Unfortunately my younger daughter has given up riding and so he's not getting passed down to her.

So before I advertised him I decided to ring his old owner and let then know that I would be selling him - well they are buying him back! This is just fantastic as they will keep him forever now. They have a small daughter who will move up onto him within the next year or so, they have their own land, and they never wanted to sell him in the first place!

So that really is good news and he will be returning to them in two weeks time.

Such a weight off my mind to know he is going back to a good home and not only that but a home for the rest of his life.

I love a happy ending don't you?

Here he is earlier in the year at a PC ODE.

Awwwwww couldn't have asked for a better outcome

That's such great news!

I was lucky like that too and it's such a weight off of your mind.
When I outgrew my first pony I swapped her with a speedier pony from a family from another pony club. (They had bought the speedy one when she came up for sale as didn't want to let her get away but she was just a bit too sharp for their kids).

When I then outgrew the faster pony, they kept both of them as they had loads of kids and land for them to retire on.

I got to visit both of them until they were PTS of old age and it was a wonderful solution
