I just thought I'd share some good news with all of you! After about 6 months - and a few post on HHO I do believe i've nearly found him! I managed to find him on a results page of a riding club on google and then traced the rider name on facebook! Alot of internet hours later and I have found the woman who used to own him. She has now sold him to a friend of hers and is going to pass my details to her and hopefully she'll contact me this weekend! I'm so excited! Nearly there! Fingers crossed for me - I'm praying that she calls soon! I've just felt that he is getting on (22 now) and I wanted to know if he is okay. I will honestly take him back like a shot as a retirement home and he can live with another oldie - he was the best pony and I feel you have to do right by the oldies! But apparently he is having a whale of a time still being ridden by two little children so is happy where he is. But I'm so excited to see some pics and things of him - I was devistated when we lost contact

Ohhh, Thanks Snowy - may well take you up on that. All dependent on the finance situation as to wether I bring one up to uni (HOPEFULLY - everything crossed - will be horse hunting soon - the situation has definatley picked up!!!) , But Bug - the old pony - could go home and be generally pampered by my mum when he is ready to retire. Just so lovely to know he is doing so well! I always thought he would go on and on because he had a pretty cushty life TBH but had the most awful panic when my dissection horse looked like him last week so spurred even MORE internet searching. And it's paid off!!! SO very pleased!

I know. He was mine for 8 years, and if I could have afforded to keep him I would have kept him forever! It would truly be 'coming home' for him, but form what I hear, he is still doing so well and giving confidence to kids - which is what he always did best. I'm just going to say to his current owner that as and when he is too old/ out of a job I will have him back like a shot!
