Just a quick update, vet did ultrasound on Chum yesterday and no rupture. It is still slightly swollen and he is still 2/10ths lame in trot so I've got to keep him on box rest for another 2 weeks, paddock rest for a further 4 weeks but if everything looks okay then I can slowly bring him back into work. Trying not to get too excited because the vet was concerned there may be underlying problems (he has had shoulder/stiffness problems) but at least it appears that we can get back to our happy hacking in the not too distant future
Thank you everyone who crossed everything yesterday - it did the trick! Can you please cross them again for 6 numbers on Saturday's lotto
