Blood results are back - liver and blood looking better than we thought. She has a little infection which has thrown her off colour and made her feel really grotty. The vet said he was pleased and felt encouraged by the results. I told him he nearly gave me a heart attack by expecting the worst but he said its always a worry when the liver is involved.

The anti-biotics are working well and she will be back to her normal self soon.

Didnt see your original post but sounds like a cause for celebration! I understand why vets often give worst possible prognosis but my good does it play havoc with our emotions!!
