good or bad - dressage score

Just back from doing prelim 4, 1st prelim I have ever done on my 5yr old who has not done alot. 1st time at this venue only 2nd time on grass

I turn into a bit of a nervous nelly, but we got 63% is that a ok score not really sure.

I know the person who came 6th got 65% if that helps at all!!

Anything over 60% for a first test isnt bad at all

Thats great, my 5yo got 52% last month, then again he did tank in one of his canters and generally pratted about!

Really good especially for a first attempt.

I think that's a fine score. You would have qualified for the second round of Trailblazers with that.

That's a good score. Our first try at dressage was well short of that & we actually had a comment 'Well Sat'....Oops

Not necessarily - when I qualified for my prelims I was in sixth with 70%! Only take five through but luckily somebody above me had already qualified so I got the qualification.

Having said that, 63% for a first attempt is very good! As somebody said, anything over 60% is a decent score, I think!
