had decided to put horse hunting for daughter on the back burner til spring after several disapoining viewings etc. nice sounding horse that i enquired about a few months ago has not been sold and is readvertised at reduced price. not sure what to do as dont want to miss an opportunity but horses kept at home, no facilities and only able to ride at weeekends. also most horses are keener in winter so not sure if we would struggle more .thoughts please

Prices are down - great time to buy! Of course they might be further down in the spring...

If you buy now then your daughter will have the whole winter to potter around and get to know new horse - ready to go out and compete properly by the spring.

Fate will probably decide though - might take you ages to find the right horse, you might see it next week!
