Found this in a tack shop in Austria, a browband with the horse's name in diamante letters (yes, I love buying horsey stuff even when on holiday!). I thought it would be the perfect gift for a good friend who just loves this sort of thing but now I'm worried it might be 'uber bling'. What do you think? Would you put something like this on your horse?

I've got one that I bought from Morgan Equine although I think other people do them in the UK now. My dressage trainer hates it but girly girls think it's great! My horse is called Woodlander Forevermore & has a heart shaped star - the O's have been replaced with hearts. I wouldn't do a comp in it but it is fun for riding at home.

Have one of these for Tommy , (tommy being my sons pony) Only his is BTT which is his initials (brookvale tommy tucker) . His is blue diamonte , Personally wouldnt have it for an adult .

Personally, I think it is awful, but it is the person who the prresent is for that matters. Does this person like this sort of thing, if yes, then buy it!!

I think if i put that on my girl and she caught sight of herself she would refuse to move- truely dreadful
Can see the appeal for kids ponies tho.

I wouldnt put it on mine because he is big and butch so he would be mortified, plus he's a native so it would be wasted anyway under his worzel gummidge forelock - but if your friend would like it go for it, I think its a nice personal present.

U can get them on Robinsons or eBay - getting one for the little girl who has my pony on loan. I cant make him any more bling than he already is though, his colours lol are black and sparkly silver stars so she will love it.
