Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good quality bridle for every day use, with just a plain cavesson noseband?

At the moment I just have a cheap one from ebay, and the leather has started to peel away, so I'm hoping to buy a good branded bridle this time. l

Also, has anyone bought a second hand bridle before, if so where from? Some of the "big" brands are quite expensive, so I thought I'd look for a well looked after second hand one first. :)

English Bridles make nice bridles, the leather is so soft :)

Horse Gossip has a section for tack for sale which is normally always good quality

I have a secondhand Morris and Nolan bridle which I got from an Equestrian car boot sale, its a beautiful bridle

Sabre are very good quality but have to say, the best leather quality I have ever come across in a bridle is my premiera bridle. Buttery soft from day one. Have had it about 4 months now and still looks like new.

Thanks rowy.

Hmm, there is too much choice around. I'm totally confused :p

I'll have a look at jeffries, I've heard that they are lovely, but not as good as they used to be. I might try and go a horsey shop to see some of them in the flesh, and decide from there.

Thanks for all your suggestions

Oh, has anyone got a Stubben (don't know if thats spelt right :o ) bridle, they seem to have good reviews too :)
