Any recommendations?

Pref somewhere which does weeekday evening private lessons and adults only group lessons.

Withinn 10 miles of Dudley if possible.

There is a bhs approved one in Streetly but that might be too far. I used to go there but that was years ago, dont know what its like now.
Theres also one in brownhills, dont bother. No one is qualified to do anything.

Bank farm bewdley, do lessons and trecks but depends on the light as its an out door school, horses are quality and the trecks are brilliant.

Conflicting about Bourne vale then!

I can ride so not looking for somewhere that is mostly for complete beginners.

i like where I am at the moment but they only do lessons at certain times and they don't have an indoor school.

Any more suggestions?

Seechem is probably next on the list I think.

Anyone ridden at Bourne vale?

I rode at Bourne Vale from age 8-12 then again aged 24 before I bought my first horse - my mother (aged in her fifties at the time) also rode there for two years. I know alot of people who have ridden there and many who still do. I also know one of the stable hands who currently works there. Never heard anything negative about their teaching or horses.

The instructors are very good and I dont understand the comment that rider from there cant ride for toffee!

Although Foxhills is somewhere I would never consider riding at, it doesnt have a very good reputation in the local area i'm afraid, and that has always put me off (despite the fact I drive past it everyday to get to the livery yard).

I feel much the same about warrens Hall which is just up the road from me but has a strange reputation.

I'm a Black Country incomer though so don't know anyone horsy here. All my research is Internet based. Lots of places don't even have websites!

Fair enough, people think we've got a "bad reputation" but unless you've actually been there, how can you judge? People always think other riding schools are bad anyway, but you can't comment unless you've been.
