Hi

I am looking for a riding school with good horses (ie, not ones that need constant nagging!!).

I live in London, and have previously ridden in Epping - does anyone know of any good riding schools?

Or anywhere else easily accessible from London?

thanks
Abi

I have ridden some nice horses at Lee Valley Riding Centre in Leyton.

Me too! They are expensive but worth it. It's like going to a hotel!

There's a riding school in Docklands called Mudchute but I havan't tried it. Has anyone else?

theres big one in noth london called London Equestrion Centre (LEC) expensive but good. not keen on the yard personally, but they do good shows.

south medburn EC in elstree is fantastic fab horses too, worked there for a while.

I used to keep my horse at South Medburn Farm in Elstree and they are very good. They have some really lovely horses and the teaching is very good. Super facilities too. I have been to LEC and competed there and am not a huge fan, prefere South Med

For hacking in Epping try High Beach riding school.

Have heard good things about Lea Valley too.

Epping Forest is lovely to ride in - just to keep my horses there and still occasionally ride over and will box Chancer there next year for hacking out as I am just that bit too far to hack to on a youngster now.

I've also been to trent park - is near Oakwood tube station. they do nice pub hacks in the summer

I've also ridden some nice horses there...

There is a place called Alborough Hall in Aldborough Hatch - not really sure what it is like, but don't think is that far from Epping? Maybe someone else might know it?
