Good saddle fitter that will come to south devon?

im looking for a decent saddle fitter that stocks second hannd saddles and ideally does part ex.does anyone know anything of town and countrys simons saddle fitting?or ashton saddlery?or any other recommendations?

Wendy at Ashton is very good. So is Karen at Leonard Coombes, Ashburton. Don't think they do part ex but usually have good selection of 2nd hand. Also very good Kate/Janet at Nutwell but pretty sure they don't do 2nd hand. Good luck.

Not sure if she is still saddle fitting or not but a lady called Annette Penny is based down in Devon and is very good.

Another vote for Karen at Leonard Coombes. She's excellent and personally I wouldn't use anyone else. As for Simon at T&C, although I know he does 'fit' saddles, I don't think he is actually a qualified saddler/saddle fitter.

Btw, Leonard Coombes is in Newton Abbot.

Suggest you do find someone who is SMS qualified - and as a saddle fitter, not just a saddler - they are two very different things. You can gon the SMS website to find names of local saddlers.

Karen at LC is nice, sensible, and thinks about the horse. She fitted the saddle I already had to my youngster with the minimum fuss and stress to the horse, she'd good (and very busy at the moment, book ahead!)
