hi im in need of a good saddle fitter who covers northants but also sells secondhand saddles- only one i know only sells new and very expensive saddles!
Tower Farm at Earls Barton.It used to be run by a "mature" couple and the lady used to go out and do the saddle fitting, new and second hand.
She did mine for me about 12 years ago, he was difficult to fit for as quite high withered.
She came out with a selection of new and second hand saddles and the best fit in her opinion was not the most expensive one, in fact it was relatively cheap compared to some she brought. I still use it now, so it was obviously the right one for my boy. Her main concern was always for the horse, not her profit...
Not sure if they still run the shop though as I moved away in 2004.
