My boy has had steroid therapy for a neurolgical problem discovered in August. He has had bonescans and neck x-rays and no real diagnosis. Was off work after problems with his feet from June so not really been in work since then.So worried I will never ride him again. He is KWPN 15,1' and 13 years old. Success stories anyone?

This is my story..... my 5 year old ID 16.3hh in May was having trouble getting head to floor could take him 20mins and pawing the ground, went to Rossdales for bone scan, neck x-rays they also found horse lame on right hind, did all the neuro test everything clear so put it down to tissue damage after 2 weeks horse fine, then take him to my local vets for lameness work up again x-rayed every joint, scan everything that could be scan again lame horse but everything back clear... then 5 weeks later horse has the same problem with head/neck this time vet sends us to RVC, neuro vet looks at him still lame, tripping infront and even standing on himself, horse had 6 steroid injection into neck, we went back yesterday to see if any inprovement and NO still the same no one really knows what is going on with my horse, i was told he has the onset of wobblers but vet didnt want me to go home thinking my horse has wobblers . sorry if this hasnt help you but just wanted to share my story with you xx

Figgy, so sorry. It's so hard isn't it? They break our hearts. What's next for your horse?

It's very hard !!! Vets at RVC said yesterday to put him on gabapentin a different pain killer , then if still not good after 6 weeks then we might try acupuncture but it's just a guessing game really, like you said about not riding your horse again I feel like this with my boy, I wish you lots of luck with your horse fingers crossed they both will ok . Xx
