Good synthetic tack options?

Has anyone come across brands selling well-made synthetic/fake leather/beta biothane English-style bridles and breastplates?

The only ones I can find so far are Wintec and the Collegiate Syntovia range, but would love a bit more choice. Search engines seem to struggle a bit with these terms, so thought word-of-mouth might work better.

When I was working at a different yard one of the horses won a Fairfax synthetic grackle bridle.
It was actually really nice. Didn’t feel really plastic like a lot of synthetic bridles can but was also machine washable etc.
I think it’s in their racing range

Try the long distance suppliers, there used to be 2 that I bought all my hunting stuff from. What a godsend it was to bung it under a tap when we got home with an inch coating of mud on it . ?

Ditto this. I have a Plas biothane bridle and love it. You could try Pioneer and Zilco too.

I have a brightly coloured endurance style bridle (converts to a headcollar) but they do regular style bridles too & in traditional colours!

What is the look and feel of the Plas bridles like, is it closer to shiny plastic, or closer to a fake leather-type finish? Thank you!

You can choose two types - shiny finish or matte finish. I chose the shiny option in a bright colour so it doesn't look anything like leather tack ? But, I think the black or brown shiny would probably look most like patent tack and I think the matte looks most like fake leather (we have the dog's collar in matte finish) - I can take a picture of both for you over the weekend if you like?

That would be really lovely of you, if it isn't too much trouble, thank you!
