What would you describe as good to load and is your horse good to load?

My gelding is excellent to load, straight in first time everytime, will walk in with leadrope over his neck 10/10
My retired mare is the same 10/10
My TB mare is ok ish, sometimes goes straight in but can also play up and refuse to go in, doesnt rear or anything just refuses, then eventually goes in - lunge lines sometimes required 4/10

New Forest 10/10 ...walks straight in everytime, even my nine year old can load him.

Cob x 5/10....half the time he walks straight in can even be led by a child, the other half he simply refuses although he will go eventually.

Shetland 0/10 or 10/10.....he point blank refuses to set a hoof on the ramp, however he is small enough that if four of us take a leg each we can carry him on :D

All ours are 10/10 thankfully, although my mare loads perfectly but only travels 5/10.

I've had a 1/10 in the past, and missed teams and shows due to it - never again. I've done my share of shaking buckets and lunge ropes!

My haflinger is good he stops looks then with a little tug he walks straight on. My youngster I have only loaded once when we collected him & he went straight on & my mums cob walks straight on. Also our NF that is out on loan goes on with no fuss either so a nice easy bunch :)
