Need pre purchase vetting done in East Sussex (maybe?) Can any one recommend one that is not too expensive please?

I have used Cliffe Equine for years, they are part of Cliffe Veterinary Group, and have a purpose built equine unit in Laughton, East Sussex, near Lewes. They have a website and their number is: 01323 815120. I doubt that they are the cheapest but I think that they are very good and would give you a quote, I'm sure.

Philip Glynne near Forest Row- very experienced. We won't use Cliffe due to a bad experience from a vetting.

Yes I wouldn't use Cliffe either, I now use Priors Farm (Philip Glyn). In fact they came out to me today for Axey and I was very impressed

Would also recommend Priors and have used a guy from there called Ben to vet 2 horses for us. He was brilliant but his surname completely escapes me now!!
I personally wouldn't use Cliffe either.

Yes that's the guy!! I was so impressed with him though he did end up failing both horses!!

Nick Mills or Howard Newitt from cinque ports at Hawkhurst did all of ours when we were in Sussex - they were in my opinion by far the best, - we were based near Heathfield.
They both (who ever was closer) vetted racehorses in our care. Deal with our broodmares, and youngsters. I wish we had vets like them in the west mids now!!

Sally at cliffe vets its brilliant, admittedly there is one vet their I would rather not see but sally is brilliant, she spent extra time with pickle being very careful and making sure she had checked everything, then charged normal visit and one blood test despite all the other stufff
