Thank you everybody for your good wishes & positive vibes. My little one amazingly is improving every day now. It's 2 weeks on today from the accident - feels at least 2 months, if not years! She dislodged some of the metal work from her previous surgery in the fall. Knocked a titanium screw out of one place & it embedded itself in a different place in her skull. Had another scare last Monday when her neuro obs deteriorated, and rushed down from the ward for another emergency CT scan - but thankfully nothing sinister showed up. She's been remarkedly lucky, and we are hopeful for a good outcome eventually. It's just a waiting game for her brain to fully recover from the trauma. Incredibly her neck & spine are intact! Drs have described that in itself as a miracle!
Our friends are having their windows altered to be safer!
